How to get here
BY CAR - From Vancouver
Powell River is located on the upper part of British Columbia's spectacular Sunshine Coast, a five-hour trip from Vancouver.
The trip involves catching two BC FERRIES, the first at Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver involving a
50-minute sailing across beautiful Howe Sound.
The next leg of the journey is a leisurely 1 1/2 hour drive along scenic Highway 101 to the ferry terminal at Earl's Cove.
Here the second ferry is boarded and you will have a 50-minute sailing across breathtaking Jervis Inlet to arrive at Saltery Bay.
Proceeding directly down Highway 101 you will arrive at the community of Powell River. Follow Marine Avenue to the Historic Townsite and turn left at Ash St. You will see the hotel on your left at the bottom of the hill.
BY CAR -
From Vancouver Island
If you are journeying from Vancouver Island, you will catch the ferry at the Little River Terminal, as short drive from Courtney, to sail across Georgia Strait.
You will disembark at the Westview ferry terminal in Powell River.
After leaving the ferry, proceed up the hill to the first set of lights, turn left and follow Marine Avenue to the Historic Townsite. Turn left at Ash St. and you will see the hotel on your left at the bottom of the hill.

BY AIR - From Vancouver
Powell River is 30 minutes away from Vancouver by air and is serviced with 5 flights daily by PACIFIC COASTAL AIRLINES. This is a great option if time is limited and provides a scenic low-level flight in a small commuter plane up the spectacular coastline. Pacific Coastal flies out of the South Terminal in Vancouver and provides advance booking discounts as well as group charter rates.
From the Airport-
Car rental through BUDGET RENTALS or taxi service with SUNCOAST CABS is available. The hotel will provide prearranged airport shuttle service for a charge of $5.00.
BY AIR - Calgary, Abbotsford, Vancouver
WestJet and Air Canada provide jet service to Comox Airport, Vancouver Island. Taxis and car rentals are available at the airport for the 10-minute drive to the Little River Terminal.
Here the ferry across Georgia Strait can be boarded for a one hour sailing to the Westview Terminal in Powell River.
After leaving the ferry, proceed up the hill to the first set of lights, turn left and follow Marine Avenue to the Historic Townsite. Turn left at Ash St. and you will be able to see the Rodmay Heritage Hotel on your left at the bottom of the hill.
